Is Japanese Toenail Fungus Code a Scam? – What You Should Know

June 18, 2018

If you have toenail fungus then Japanese Toenail Fungus Code claims to be the solution. It is said to be able to “neutralize” your fungus within two weeks and all you need is 10 minutes a day for this to work. It also claims to be free of any harsh treatments or expensive ones, consisting of treatments with products or you can pick up at your local grocery store.

But is it really as good as it claims to be? It seems that every antifungal product out there claims to be the greatest thing that has ever existed, yet most of them don’t work as good as they say. So is this the real deal or will this just be a waste of money? Is Japanese Toenail Fungus Code a scam? These are questions that everyone needs answered before buying a product like this, so I took the liberty of doing some research on this “code” and he is my review. If you’re thinking about buying into this you are definitely going to want to read this over first.

Japanese Toenail Fungus Code Review

I’m sure you are skeptical of Japanese Toenail Fungus Code, which is probably why you are reading my review now. The video presentation for this product is very overhyped and it just comes off as being somewhat of a scam, or at least that’s what I thought at first glance.

As the old saying goes, if something sounds too good to be true then it probably is. And this seemes like a way overhyped anti-fungal product, kind of like Fungus Hack or Fungus Shield Plus, both of which I have exposed on this site.

In short… This product is not nearly as good as it claims to be. It is nothing more than an e-book that contains a bunch of information on natural and easy solutions to curing turnout fungus. Does it provide good information? Yes, I will admit that it does, but this information can easily be found for free on YouTube or just searching around Google.

I’ll get into the details of this product in a bit, but first I go over some of the lies and misleading sales tactics they throw at you.

Lies, Lies, and More Lies

There are more than one sales page for this product, but the screenshots below are from the one that I came across.

First of all, they lie to you when they claim that this product has been seen on ABC News, NBC, MSN, etc. It may have been advertised on the sites, but this doesn’t really mean anything because anyone can paid to advertise on the sites. I could advertise a complete scam right now if I wanted to. So maybe this is in a complete lie but is very misleading. This product has definitely not been featured by any of these news channels that’s for sure.

And in the video presentation that I watched there is this guy named “Doctor James Clement” that was supposedly some expert on toenail fungus. However I was already suspicious that this guy was probably fake, because I review scams like this all time, so I did some digging around and found that this guy is actually a paid actor on the freelance marketing website Fiverr. He’s just an actor that the creators of this product paid to make a fake video…

Is The Spokesperson’s Story Really True? = Probably Not

There is no proof that I have of the spokesperson’s story being false, but I’m guessing that is false. The spokesperson’s name is Terry WIlliams supposedly, and he tells you some sob story about his wife Caroline’s liver failing all due to toenail fungus, and her almost dying.

Then of course she came across Japanese Toenail Fungus Code and WALAHH…. Fungus cured, a miracle! All in just 12 days too. Wow.

Don’t Rush Yourself..

In the video presentation Terry tells you that the video could be taken down at any time in that you have to act now if you really want to buy this product. He claims that the “money grabbing pharmaceutical companies” when to stop his breakthrough because it is hurting their business.

This it is nothing more than a clever little marketing tactic called false scarcity, which is when you try to make it seem urgent that viewers buy in right away, because if they don’t they might lose out. But it’s all just a lie.

Very Misleading Information

The the entire video presentation is just a bunch of lies in misleading information for the most part… All designed to sucker people into buying this product.

At one point Terry talks about Lamisil and Sporanox which are two antifungal medications that doctors prescribe. He claims that these drugs only have a 60% success rate and damage your body 100% of the time. Basically what you lead you to believe is that the big pharmaceutical companies are not even trying to help you out. They want the drugs to fail want to get you hooked on them. Now whether this is true or not is another story, but the fact of the matter is that Terry presents this information in a very misleading way.

Both of these drugs are very different than what Japanese Toenail Fungus Code is promoting. Japanese Toenail Fungus Code is promoting natural solutions, which will work in some cases, but in more severe and possibly life-threatening fungus cases, you are going to need drugs like Lamisil and Sporanox. Also, both of these drugs have very good ratings from real users.

Yes, they have been linked to death in some cases, but something else that he doesn’t tell you is that most of the deaths have come from people with underlying systemic conditions, according to the FDA.

What Exaclty Is Japanese Toenail Fungus Code?

Japanese Toenail Fungus Code is just an e-book that is over 100 pages long. It provides information on many different aspects of toenail fungus so that you can tackle it from all angles.

It is important to realize that this is just an e-book. You are buying information here even if you want anything to work you will have to go out and buy products at the grocery store that it recommends.

In the e-book there is information on grooming your toenails, keeping your feet clean and dry, wearing socks that are made of natural material in breathable, and most importantly natural strategies for keeping your nails strong, healthy, and fungus free.

The different natural remedies that are discussed for keeping your nails strong include…

  • Apple cider vinegar solution
  • Warm water and white wine
  • Chaparral and whiskey
  • Nonyx gel
  • Tea tree oil mix
  • Olive oil and garlic mix
  • Grapefruit seed extract

Then in another section of the e-book there are different remedies that you can start using right away, because you probably already have the ingredients needed in your house. These remedies include…

  • Baking soda
  • Salt remedies
  • Vapor rup & ginger
  • Anti-dandruff shampoo

Detoxification is also discussed, where the author talks about taking chlorella to detoxify your body and help rid it of the fungus. Chlorella is something that I have actually taken before and have a lot of knowledge about. It has loads of chlorophyll and is proven to detoxify, so this is some very good information. However I do not have any experience taking it to eliminate toenail fungus nor have I found any studies on it. So I am unsure of how effective it would be in this particular situation.

Dr. Hiroki Ishiguro… The Man Behind It All

There is some controversy over whether this guy actually exists or not. I have not been able to find any verifiable information that proves his existence.

I was able to find that there is a doctor with the name Hiroki Ishiguro, but this guy was born well after World War II, so it is the wrong Dr.

Final Thoughts – Scam?

Is Japanese Toenail Fungus Code a scam? All in all I would not call a scam because it does provide some good information. However I will say that it is marketed in a misleading and somewhat “scammy” way, with lots of hype and information that just isn’t true.

If you are still interested in buying this product there is another suggestion that I have. Why not just look up how to do the different natural remedies that are discussed in the book for free on YouTube or Google? I mentioned all the different remedies that are in the book, so just do a little bit of your own research now instead of buying this product. You could still purchase it… it is up to you. I mean, it is nice how all the information is all packed together in a convenient ebook. If you are interested in buying it you can do so on the official website here.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this honest review and found it helpful. Please share if you did. Also, leave any comments, questions, or concerns in the comment section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can 🙂

  1. Dear Kyle – thank you for taking the trouble to review the Japanese toe fungus code. Even though I work in medical research, as I suffer for poor toenail health and was sufficiently interested/concerned to watch the whole of the promo video – even though the hard sell at the end shouted “hustle”. Thanks for brining me back to reality. Kind regards Jeremy v V, London, United Kingdom

  2. Thanks for the review. I thought some of the same things. Also, the “wife” seemed a little young for having been married 10 years. I could swear it said she was 26 but I couldn’t rewind to check. I’m already upset that i watched that WHOLE ENTIRE info-mercial. That’s 30/40 minutes of my life I won’t get back! Every testimonial was a little forced. The worst one was Dr. Rajsomething or other. It’s sad that sites like these pray on people’s fear and current situation. I’m sure a person that has some type of nail fungus present will dish over $40 to SAVE their lives. VERY SAD!

  3. They got me! I dished out close to 70$ for one can + shipping & handling and the bottle that I ordered was not delivered. Shame! My Japanese spouse had a good laugh at me for being so naive and called Dr Ishiguro: Dr Haraguro. Any Japanese speaking person will understand the meaning of it.

  4. Thanks for writing this, an email landed in my Inbox with a link to this “pitch”. You’re a hundred percent correct, all the natural methods (apple cider vinegar etc) is as easy as a google/youtube search, foot care etc. These people don’t deserve a penny or anyone’s time for being so scammy.

  5. I always think it’s funny that they say in the videos ” it won’t cost you anything ” lmao. Always too good to be true!

    1. I have toenail fungus. I got it in 1961, hoped for years for a cure??I went to my Doctor then he was going to give me something orally, I said “NO” because I was pregnant.. I did not want anything to hurt my baby!!! So I continued through life!!
About 4 years ago I went to my Dermatologist, he gave me something to put on my nails, It took off the top layer of my nails but the toe nails came back as before. I really would like to find a cure!!! What my point is here is, I would like to find a real honest person that could give the normal toenails I deserve in life.. I wish someone would find a cure so I could have pretty feet & feet that were not so painful. So these people were saying if you got toenail fungus, it would kill you in a short time?? Well I am still waiting, it has been 57 years, & I am still here? I guess I will wait until someone really has the cure, I am 78 years old, my goal is 100 year old, that 22 years to go.. That’s why I was hoping for the truth!!! So come on people, help me out!!!!

  6. Very useful critique. Probably kept me from spending some
money. I was expecting to find some medicinal mushrooms
    from the hype. THANKS!

  7. I am grateful for your critique.
I watched the Japanese TF video. I had planned to do research about this, after lamenting the wasted time spent.
I then wrote the following feedback to the promoter of the code:
You promised a list of supplies, saying there would be no charge unless we want to pay. What a waste of my time today. You have no more integrity than any other fear mongering, money grubbing, huckster on the world scene. I am so disappointed in you. I feel quite certain that the $39. you charge, far exceeds your cost of running the website. And if people have really claimed they would pay much more for your “codes”, grateful code joiners would voluntarily send donations after receiving the guaranteed results if you actually offered the lists of supplies for free during your spiel. You capture the attention of trusting people, with bait and switch rhetoric. SHAME ON YOU!!

  8. Thank you for the review, and thank you for outing sham products. Because of how the middle class to lower classes in the United States has been destroyed on purpose by the United States government, jobs and money are difficult to come by. Too many are having financial troubles like myself, so not wasting money is very important.
There are too many hucksters promoting worthless products, taking money of unsuspecting people.
By providing information about sham products is very helpful. Thank goodness for people like you and for taking time to research and put the information out for everyone to see.

  9. Thanks for handy information and your research, many fake/scam products are only ripping people money.
I must appreciate your research about toenail fungus
    Either way, enjoy!!

  10. It may sound silly
But ii think I have a cure which could work for most people.
I am curious if you had a opinion on the best natural anti fungas nail treatment. In your opinion.
    Thank you
