Keto OS is a very hyped-up product that supposedly can help you achieve an almost instant state of ketosis,… Or at least that is what they tell you. But cannot really? Does this product really have the incredible health benefits that people say it does? Or is Keto OS a scam that is just going to be a waste of your money?
There or a a lot of people running around talking about how amazing this product is, which is one of the reasons that caught my attention and why I decided to do a little investigating into it. In this review I will be going over how this product supposedly works, the ingredients, what other users are saying, complaints, my take on everything and more
Keto OS Review
Overview
Keto OS is a product that is produced by the direct sales MLM company Pruvit. Now if you are familiar with direct sales MLM companies, then you know they often push overpriced and overhyped products. They have provide business opportunities where anyone can join the business as an independent distributor and make money selling their products as well as recruiting in other distributors.
Their recruitment style compensation plans are what lead many people to distrust their business and products, which is probably why many people are wondering whether or not Keto OS is a scam.
But anyways… Let’s move on to this product review…
How Keto OS Supposedly Works
Keto OS is all about putting your body in a state of ketosis and in order to understand this you first need to know what ketosis is.
Ketosis gets his name from the ketones that your body produces when it is depleted of carbohydrate energy storage, a.k.a. glycogen, and taps into your fat storage. When the fat is broken down there are ketones that are released from the liver and these ketones are supposedly what Keto OS provides to you.
So basically this product is designed to get you into a state of ketosis without all the work of actually burning through your carbohydrate stores, which could take days or weeks to achieve naturally.
They tell you that if you were to go about achieving ketosis naturally, it would be extremely difficult. According to them, the average person would have to work out 10 times harder and longer to achieve this fat burning state.
But of course there miracle products, Keto OS, can help you achieve this ketosis state within around 60 minutes.
What’s The Purpose Of Achieving Ketosis?
Many people will tell you that ketosis leads to an all around better life, improving mental clarity, energy and fat loss.
From what I have read it seems that the main benefit to be had, which people enjoy the most, is the mental clarity that comes with it.
But anyways… What exactly does this product have been at that is going to help you achieve ketosis? Well… Let’s take a look at the ingredients:

The ingredients included in Keto OS are as follows…
- B Vitamins – Vitamins B6 and B12
- Calcium
- Sodium
- N8 Bioavailability Blend
- R-Beta Hydroxybutyrate
- L- Taurine
- L- Leucine
- Uncaria Tomentosa Bark
- Caffeine (some are caffeine free)
Now taking note that caffeine is not included in all of the different Keto OS products. There are different variations and you can choose to purchase it without caffeine if you so choose.
Many of the ingredients that are included you already know. We all have heard of the B vitamins, calcium, sodium, caffeine, and many of us probably have heard of L taurine and L leucine. But what about these other ones?
R-Beta Hydroxybutyrate, or BHB for short, is one of the ketones that our bodies make when in a state of ketosis. So Keto OS it is directly providing your body with the most abundant of the ketones produced so that you don’t have to work for it.
Uncaria Tomentosa Bark, aka Cat’s Claw, is commonly used for inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. It is also known to be good for stimulating the immune system and has been used for thousands of years, dating back to the Incans of South America. That said, I’m not really sure why they have included this ingredient in this particular product. Sure, it is healthy… But what does that have to do with achieving a state of ketosis?
What Users Are Saying
There are a lot of reviews that are in both sides of the fence, negative and positive. Some people claim that this product has turned their life around in many ways, while others claim it is nothing more than a waste of money.
There are hundreds and hundreds of reviews out there, many of which I read on Amazon, and you will find all sorts of things.
I have read some pretty incredible reviews of weight loss stories, and just overall improved lifestyle stories, while I have also read a list of complaints.
Some of the more common complaints I came across included…
Horrible Taste
On the Pruvit website they state that this is one of the best tasting supplements around, but many users out there would beg to differ with this statement. I have read tons of reviews from people saying that this is an absolutely awful tasting supplement.
Now honestly, this doesn’t really matter to me much, but it is still worth talking about because some people just can’t seem to take a supplement if it tastes too bad.
Upset Stomach
Several reviews I have read come from people claiming to experience an upset stomach, such as stomach pain and needing to go to the bathroom frequently after taking Keto OS.
It is normal to experience increased urination after taking a product like this that flood your body with ketones, but as for the upset stomach part I’m not sure why this would be. There really shouldn’t be any side effects worth noting based on the ingredient profile that I see.
Doesn’t Work
And then of course there are a fair number of people claiming that this product just simply does not work. They have taken it, they have given it a chance, and it just hasn’t changed anything in their lives.
There was one review I was reading where a guy actually bought urine strips to test his urine for ketones, which at certain levels would indicate a state of ketosis. However, all of his readings came back negative. Now I have no idea… Maybe he was not performing the test correctly, but again… It is worth mentioning.
Can You Really Trust The Amazing Reviews?
As I I mentioned earlier, this Keto OS product is sold by the direct sales MLM company named Pruvit.
Many people have a hard time trusting products sold by these types of companies because of their compensation plans. Anyone can join and sell the products as well as recruit in other distributors and earn money from their efforts.
Basically what you get with these types of companies as a bunch of independent distributors running around talking about how amazing their products are just to make money. It is hard to know what to believe and what not to believe.
My Take On It
As far as getting the health benefits that come with increased ketones in the body, such as mental clarity, this product seems like it could be worth trying. But if you are looking to take Keto OS as a way to lose weight I’m not so sure I would buy it just yet.
To me it doesn’t make much sense if you are going to use this product to lose weight. Why not? Well… Because ketosis is the state you achieve when you deplete your body off carbohydrate fuel, a.k.a. glycogen, and tap into the fat stores, which then leads to your body giving off these ketones.
So you are ingesting these ketones without actually burning through all your carbohydrate fuel. So sure… You would have these ketones floating around your body, but your body would still resort to burning the carbohydrate fuel as its first source of energy, would it not? Is there something I am missing?
For fat loss it makes much more sense to me to just go on a good keto diet, which is high in fat and low in carbs. This seems like it would be a lot better for losing weight and achieving ketosis.
Final Thoughts – Scam?
Well.. This is still up in the air. I definitely do not think it is a scam but I also do not think it is the miracle product that many people claim it is.
It would be nice to see a really in-depth review performed on this product.
I feel like many people that are writing these amazing reviews are receiving much of their newly found health benefits from the caffeine and L taurine that is included in this product. Caffeine obviously is well known to increase energy and L taurine is known to help improve mental focus. So maybe many of the benefits that people are experiencing don’t actually come from ketosis, but rather come from the extra ingredients included in this product that have really nothing to do with ketosis.
I’m thinking this could be the case because there are studies out there that suggest ketosis doesn’t provide all the miracle benefits that people claim, such as this study that suggests the BGB ketone could inhibit mental focus.
But anyways… If you want to give it a shot then go for it. There are a lot of people saying it does work and a lot saying it doesn’t. See if it works for yourself and if it does then great.
Just know that many people claim it is a waste of money. There are hundreds of on Amazon for multiple variations of the Keto OS product and none of them have an average rating of over 4/5 stars… Which shouldn’t need an explanation.
