Diabetes60 System, Scam or Will This “Trick” Really Work? – Honest Review

August 30, 2018

The Diabetes 60 System Scam

The Diabetes60 System it is advertised as being some “weird trick” that can reverse type II diabetes within weeks. But is it really this great? Or is Diabetes60 System a scam by Dr. Ryan Shelton that you should be avoiding?

The truth is that if you do follow the system, you will likely see improvements, however… This is really nothing all that special. It is not some new they found secret nor is it something that is going to work for absolutely everyone, as you are led to believe.

Much of what you are told is misleading and in this review I plan on clearing everything up. I will be going over a little bit about the sales pitch, this Dr. Ryan Shelton Guy, whether or not there is really scientific proof that this “trick” actually works, and ultimately whether or not I think this is a scam.

Diabetes60 System Review

Since you are reading this review I am guessing you probably came across the video presentation for Diabetes60 System. Why am I guessing this? Well… Because the video presentation is what makes this all seem like a scam. It just seems a little bit too good to be true, doesn’t not?

Above the video presentation this system is claimed to be based on a “doctor’s 1 weird 60-second body movement trick that reverses type II diabetes within weeks”. Of course this doctor that is mentioned is Dr. Ryan Shelton, who claims he will give you a second chance at life by helping you rid yourself of diabetes.

At the beginning he tells you that in the next couple of minutes he will be showing you this 60 second trick to curing your diabetes, but the video then goes on for over 40 agonizing minutes. And I can imagine many people never made it through the entire video.

You are told that this trick is all based around HIIT, or high intensity interval training that you can do for just a few minutes per day. This is something that really caught my attention. First it is said that this can be done for just 60 seconds per day and now he is saying that you can do this in a few minutes per day… What a bummer. Now this is going to take me a couple minutes each day?? Oh this is just getting to be too much for me (joke).

But anyways, he claims that this is “clinically proven in countless peer review medical journals” and that it works because HIIT exercise recruits more muscle fibers, depletes more glycogen, and increases post exercise insulin sensitivity more than normal workouts.

Typical Fear Mongering Sales Pitch

The video presentation takes the route of the pretty typical fear mongering sales pitch. It wasn’t nearly as bad as some of the health products I have reviewed, such as Blood Pressure Protocol and Memory Repair Protocol, but Dr. Ryan does talk about how it is a matter of time if you have type II diabetes that you will eventually succumb to hypertension, heart disease, stroke, nerve damage, blindness etc… if you continue to take prescription drugs. And of course his 100% natural treatment is the answer.

But I guess it was nice that he didn’t try to scare you away from the entire pharmaceutical industry… As many marketing campaigns do try to do. He even made it a point to mention how he was not going to do this in the video presentation.

Who Is This Dr Ryan Shelton Guy?

Diabetes 60 System Dr Ryan Shelton

Before starting my research into this I thought for sure that Dr. Ryan Shelton was going to be a made up fictitious character. I was guessing that this guy was more than likely a paid actor and not really a doctor at all. The reason for my assumptions are due to the many very scammy health products that I have reviewed on my site here.

However, to my surprise, I found out that this guy is actually a doctor. He is a N.A.B.N.E certified doctor at South Beach Skin Lab and works in the skincare industry reversing wrinkles and such.

But wait a minute… This guy reverses wrinkles?? I thought he cures diabetes??

This is the strange part. I could not find any information about him being involved in any diabetic research or anything related to diabetes. Everything I found had to do with him being a skincare doctor period.

I don’t know exactly what is going on here, and I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but it could be possible that this guy got paid to film the video presentation for Diabetes60 System and actually has nothing to do with it. But this is just a possibility.

Is This “Trick” Really Proven To Work?

First of all, let me make it clear that this is not a “trick”. The use of words like this are just marketing tactics to try to make this system sound more appealing and more like a breakthrough.

But Yes… It is proven to work. There are tons of studies showing that exercise is an effective treatment for type II diabetes. This is definitely no secret. After all… HIIT it is just a form of exercise.

HIIT is what Dr. Ryan says it is. It is when you exercise very intensely for short intervals of time followed by rest intervals.

HIIT vs Normal Exercise

There needs to be more research done on the effectiveness between the two, but there are some studies out there that show HIIT to be superior.

One study published in Diabetes Care talk to groups of people with diabetes and had one group perform continuous walking exercise while the other performed HIIT walking exercise for three minute intervals. Both groups did one hour of this type of exercise five times a week.

The results showed that the HIIT Walker group had improved much more than the continuous Walker group in physical fitness, body composition, and glycemic control.

Doing This 60 Seconds a Day WILL NOT WORK!

The video presentation for Diabetes60 System lead you to believe that you will be able to exercise for 60 seconds a day and will see type II diabetes just miraculously disappear. This is not true, or at least I can find no proof of it.

I cannot find any studies that show one short HIIT movement for 60 seconds being effective and I can’t imagine this actually being the truth. As explained in the study above, these people still exercised for in our long, it is just that they broke down the exercise into short high intensity interval training.

Now I am not saying that you have to exercise for one hour five days a week, but you definitely have to do more than 60 seconds per day.

What You Get If You Buy

You will get a eight week protocol that you are supposed to follow, which is nice because it helps you stay on track. And in addition to this you will also get a video collection that shows you how to perform all the 25 HIIT movements along with a recipe collection that includes over 500 diabetic-friendly recipes.

Misleading? = Yes

There is no doubt that the marketing used for Diabetes60 System it is misleading and somewhat “scammy”, which is probably why you are reading my review of it right now.

It is a good case of real scientific findings being blown up out of proportion and exaggerated to help sell a product that really isn’t all that special. I mean think about it… What you are getting here is a bunch of workout videos and recipes… All of which could easily be found online for free. But I guess it is nice that it is all packaged up in an easy to follow bundle so that you don’t have to go out and do the research.

Will This Actually Work?

Yes HIIT will work and has been proven to improve type II diabetes. That said… How much it works really depends on you. Not only does it depend on the intensity of your workouts, but it also depends on your current state of fitness. Those who are more out of shape will likely see more improvements faster, although not necessarily true.

Conclusion – Scam?

I would not call Diabetes60 System a scam. I would just say that it could have been marketed in a more straightforward and truthful way. But other than that… I don’t have any problems with this. I just don’t get why they couldn’t have took a more honest approach to the marketing from the start. But I don’t know… I guess they wouldn’t be able to sell as many copies of the system that way. It is the “60 second trick”that lures a lot of people into this.

So anyways… If you do want to purchase Diabetes60 System you can do so on the official website here. Just know that this information can be found online for free pretty easily. As I said, the upside to buying this system would be that everything is packaged up for you and you don’t have to go out and do all the research on your own.

  1. Liked your review. You were honest about the fact that Dr.Ryans system is not a scam but information that is factual but also can be found dor free on the internet. I think it is good for some people that do not have the wherewithal to collect info themselves.
You have many typos though that initially threw me off and had me questioning your validity. Might want to check that. As I read on I see you are genuine.
